TD Bank US statements: download and review account activity

Use TD Bank’s US documentation for a US account. TD’s Canadian services and TD Business Central U.S. have different channels and export capabilities. The issued statement is the reference for a completed account period; the live banking dashboard can also contain pending activity. Begin with the right regional service and source document before deciding how to build a spreadsheet.

Get the right document first

  1. Sign in to TD Bank US Online Banking or the official US mobile app.
  2. Open the statement area for the checking, savings or other account being reviewed.
  3. Select the available statement period and open the document.
  4. Save or download the issued statement using the available document controls.
  5. For TD Business Central U.S., inspect the Export control separately and confirm exactly which account activity is currently displayed.

TD Bank US describes access to up to seven years of statements and notices. Its documented Quicken and QuickBooks connection is not a promise of a personal CSV button or the same history for every export.

PDF statement or native transaction export?

A statement records transactions for its stated period and excludes pending items, according to TD’s explanation of bank statements. Keep that document when you compare an extracted table with opening and closing balances. Notices and statement-delivery settings are separate from selecting the actual statement.

The TD Business Central U.S. guide documents CSV exports of deposit and loan account activity and says the exported content is what is visible on screen. Treat that as a scoped business feature. For a personal account, check its own download options or use the statement PDF; do not borrow Canadian EasyWeb or business portal instructions.

Checks that matter for this account

  • US versus Canada

Confirm the service is TD Bank US. Similar branding does not mean a Canadian statement guide describes the same account fields or export menus.

  • Visible business export scope

In Business Central U.S., verify filters and selected account before exporting. The guide says only currently viewed content is exported.

  • Pending rows differ from statements

Keep pending transactions apart from the completed statement cycle. Their presence on the dashboard does not make the statement incomplete.

  • Deposit and loan balances differ

Keep a business loan ledger separate from checking activity. A loan repayment and a checking withdrawal can describe opposite sides of one transfer without being duplicate source rows.

Build a spreadsheet you can review

Create a source register with the regional service, account, statement dates and download type. When importing a business CSV, preserve references as text and verify the first and last dates against the filter settings. When working from a PDF, add a page reference and compare page transitions before sorting rows.

For a synthetic US checking example, $900.00 plus $250.00 received minus $70.00 paid gives $1,080.00. A pending $20.00 authorization should not change that closed statement check. If the table includes both a loan account and checking, verify each ledger independently before matching transfers between them.

FAQ · TD Bank US

Does the Canadian TD download guide apply to TD Bank US?

Do not assume so. Use US account help and the options in your US banking service.

Can TD Business Central U.S. export CSV?

Its user guide documents a CSV export for deposit and loan activity. Check the visible content and filters because they define the export scope.

Why is a pending card transaction absent from my TD statement?

TD explains that statements do not show pending transactions, although online and mobile dashboards usually do. Compare posted activity for the same period.

Official bank references

The bank’s instructions take precedence. Menus and export options can differ by account, device and agreement.
