Lloyds Bank statements: personal PDFs and business CSV
Lloyds Bank’s personal statement downloads and Online for Business transaction exports solve different needs. A personal PDF retains the issued record; the business service documents native CSV and QIF transaction downloads. Choose the channel that matches your account, then compare the export range with the statement period. Do not assume a business export feature is available on every personal banking screen.
Get the right document first
- Log in to the Lloyds Bank service used for your account.
- For a personal account in the app, select the account and open the download or statement option above the recent transactions.
- Choose the available month and year, then save the PDF to your device.
- For Online for Business, open the account’s transaction page and its statement options.
- Use Export transactions where offered, choose the supported format and required range, and check that the file covers the intended rows.
Lloyds’ personal help gives channel-dependent statement history, while its business functionality guide documents a maximum of 1,000 lines per transaction export. These are different capabilities and should not be merged into one promise.
PDF statement or native transaction export?
Use the personal statement PDF when you need the account and statement-period record. Lloyds also lets customers manage paper-free preferences separately; changing delivery preferences does not create a custom transaction export. Save the actual statement before beginning the spreadsheet work.
For Online for Business, Lloyds documents CSV/QIF exports and a monthly PDF transaction summary through statement options. If the range is too large for one export, use smaller recorded intervals. Preserve their boundaries so that the same day is neither skipped nor counted twice when the files are joined.
Checks that matter for this account
Personal versus business service
Label the source channel before following export instructions. The business format list is not proof of personal CSV availability.
Business export row ceiling
Check the exported row count against the requested period. If the documented 1,000-line limit might apply, split the range and verify completeness.
Monthly summary versus transaction rows
A business PDF summary can be a useful control, but do not append its totals as additional movements alongside the detailed CSV.
Repeated boundary dates
When joining several Lloyds exports, compare the last date of one file with the first of the next. Equal amounts alone are not sufficient evidence to delete a row.
Build a spreadsheet you can review
Import CSV with the date order explicitly checked and references stored as text. Add source-file and requested-period fields before concatenating batches. Preserve the bank description and classify payments in a separate column rather than rewriting the source wording.
For a synthetic business current account, £2,400.00 opening plus £1,200.00 credits minus £850.00 debits gives £2,750.00. If a batch appears short, investigate the selected date range and row limit before altering values. A balance check supports arithmetic; invoice matching and accounting classification remain separate work.
