BCV statements: BCV-net PDFs and electronic account reporting

Banque Cantonale Vaudoise separates periodic statements, debit/credit notices and tax records in BCV-net. For an Excel review, select the periodic statement first and keep notices as supporting detail. BCV also documents business electronic account reporting in ISO 20022 formats. A structured statement can avoid PDF table reconstruction when your existing service and software support it, but it is not a universal one-click CSV feature.

Get the right document first

  1. Log in directly to BCV-net with your authorized account.
  2. Open e-documents and select the statements category, labelled Relevés in the French interface.
  3. Choose the account and available statement period, then save the issued PDF.
  4. Use the separate debit/credit notice area only when you need supporting detail for a particular entry.
  5. For a business reporting workflow, check the ISO account-reporting service enabled for the account and use software that supports its message format.

BCV’s document help describes periodic statement availability for 36 months. Its business reporting page separately explains that statement and debit/credit PDFs are available in BCV-net independently of activating structured reporting.

PDF statement or native transaction export?

The periodic statement is the account record for its stated dates. A PDF of bank coordinates confirms account information, while a tax record or individual debit notice has another purpose. Do not build a transaction table from a document that supplies only account details or a single payment.

BCV’s business reporting page describes CAMT.053 end-of-day account statements, other structured notifications and a SWIFT MT940 option for compatible arrangements. Use the message type supported by your software and service. The PDF documents remain useful references; a structured reporting capability does not imply that every personal account offers native Excel or CSV.

Checks that matter for this account

  • Periodic statement versus bank coordinates

Confirm the selected document contains transaction rows. A bank-coordinate PDF is not an account ledger.

  • Debit/credit notice overlap

A notice can describe an entry already included in the periodic statement. Link it to that row rather than adding the amount again.

  • CAMT message purpose

A statement and a notification contain different reporting scopes. Record the message type before importing and do not combine summary and detail amounts without mapping.

  • Actual statement period

Use the document dates and account currency, not the download month or the language of the BCV-net session, to define the review.

Build a spreadsheet you can review

Create a source register with BCV account, currency, document type, dates and page count. For PDF-only work, add a page reference to every extracted row. For structured reporting, retain the original message and identifiers while reviewing the transformed table. Preserve long payment references as text.

For a synthetic CHF account, CHF 3,100.00 opening plus CHF 700.00 credits minus CHF 480.00 debits gives CHF 3,320.00. A debit notice supporting the CHF 480.00 payment should not create another withdrawal. Check coverage and source relationships before arithmetic; a correct closing balance does not prove the beneficiary text or accounting category.

FAQ · Banque Cantonale Vaudoise

Where are BCV periodic statements?

BCV’s guide places them in BCV-net under e-documents and the statements category. French labels use Relevés.

Do I need structured reporting enabled to download BCV PDF statements?

BCV says PDF statements and debit/credit notices are available in BCV-net independently of activating electronic account reporting.

Is BCV CAMT reporting the same as a CSV statement?

No. CAMT is an ISO 20022 XML message format for compatible software. Choose a supported import method rather than merely changing the filename extension.
