Truist statements: document access and Excel review
For Truist records, start with Documents and confirm the product and statement period. Truist’s online statement service covers eligible accounts, while available history differs between deposits, cards and loans. Business users also need appropriate document permissions. Being able to see an account balance does not necessarily mean a delegated user can open every statement required for a review.
Get the right document first
- Sign in directly to Truist Online Banking or the official app with your authorized profile.
- Open Documents and select the eligible account and statement type.
- Choose the available statement period you need and open the document.
- Use the offered download or print control to retain the issued record.
- If a business statement is missing, ask your business profile administrator to verify Documents access before rebuilding records from screenshots.
The public materials reviewed confirm electronic statement access and product-dependent history. They do not establish a single consumer CSV export path, so this guide does not promise one.
PDF statement or native transaction export?
Truist’s service agreement describes viewing, saving and printing electronic statements for eligible accounts. Use that issued document as the reference for account ownership, cycle dates and balances. A live activity view or an eBill from a merchant is not the same record.
For business profiles, Truist distinguishes full and custom administrator access. Its business service agreement ties access to accounts and functions to administrator entitlements. If a statement is missing, ask the authorized administrator to review the profile. A business accounting connection does not prove that every consumer account offers CSV.
Checks that matter for this account
History varies by product
Truist publishes different statement-history limits for deposits, cards, loans and other products. Check the available period in Documents for the exact account.
Delegated document permissions
A business custom-access profile can be limited by account and function. Ask the authorized administrator to check the permitted records instead of concluding that the bank has no statement.
Consolidated records
If your statement contains several accounts, attach an account identifier to each row and check balances section by section.
Statement versus analysis report
Business materials also refer to account analysis statements describing charges. Do not append a fee summary and its already posted charges as separate payments.
Build a spreadsheet you can review
Preserve the downloaded document and create a source register containing product, account identifier, statement dates and page count. If a permitted export is available, compare its rows with that register. Otherwise, transcribe or extract only actual transaction entries, retaining a source-page field for review.
For a synthetic checking review, $1,600.00 opening balance plus $400.00 credits minus $250.00 debits gives $1,750.00. Check each consolidated account separately. Do not use the available balance from today’s dashboard as the closing balance of an older cycle, and do not add a guessed adjustment to make the spreadsheet match.
FAQ · Truist
Where does Truist publish statement-history availability?
Truist points customers to Documents in Online Banking for the history of their specific product. Its published maxima differ between account types.
Why can a business user see transactions but not statements?
Truist’s business agreement makes access dependent on the user and administrator entitlements. Ask an authorized administrator to review the account and available document access.
Is an account analysis statement a second set of transactions?
It may explain business account charges rather than supply another independent ledger. Compare it with the actual posted account entries before including any amount in your spreadsheet.
Official bank references
The bank’s instructions take precedence. Menus and export options can differ by account, device and agreement.
